10 more weeks to go!

I'm officially 29 weeks now. Last week I got the results of my glucose test and luckily it came back negative to gestational diabetes. However, they did say that I had anemia. They want me to take an iron supplement but I would rather not. I'm only slightly anemic and I would rather be tired then be constipated. Oh trade offs :)

Mother's Day was nice. The kids made me fun things at school - Raene made me a cute card and a vase with a couple of Morning Glories inside. Ruby made me a little poster with her handprints and a poem.

We also acquired a free swing set on Mother's Day. It's old and metal but it's solid and not rusty so we will keep it for a few years until the kids get a little bigger and we can maybe afford (or find) a nicer wooden one.

We have also pretty much settled on the name Rowyn (or possibly spelled Rowin) for our baby girl. The "Ro" part comes from my Grandpa's middle name of Roland and the "wyn" comes from Neil's Grandpa's name of Edwin. We're still in the process of working on a middle name. Right now we are thinking Aria-Marie but there are a few other good ones being tossed around and maybe some that we haven't thought of yet.

Last night I was at the final PTC meeting for the school year and I was nominated and voted in as the new Secretary of the Parent Teacher Committee. I think this is a role I will be able to handle considering that I will have a new baby next year. All of the positions ended up being filled by new people since we are losing our long standing president and treasurer so next year will be a lot of work and a lot of learning the ropes but I'm excited about it too :)
