I had an appointment this week and it was definitely interesting. She cleared me for our trip to IL for Ted and Megan's wedding but she was hesitant to do so. I guess the baby is head down and nestled into her 'get me out of here!' position. I've been having a lot of false contractions, ie Braxton Hicks, and she said that any more than I am having now and I need to be checked right away. I've been ordered not to do ANYTHING while down there. Hmph! I also have to take a lot of breaks while we are driving to avoid blood clots in my legs. Luckily she gave me great tips to help with the pain I've been having in my sciatica. She sounded very close to putting me on bed rest and I am not thrilled with that idea. I have two crazy kids and it's summer break!
The thing that made me the most happy about my appointment was that I got to see my regular doctor. I haven't seen her at all this pregnancy so far and it has been a rough one. But I'm at the point now of having appointments every two weeks and she is finally back in the offices which makes me feel so much more at ease.
Other than my house never feeling clean right now and trying to make it to IL and back safely I feel like I'm ready for the baby to be here finally :)
