So close yet so far away

12 days until my c-section. I'm trying to keep busy without putting myself into early labor. Now that the kids are out of school time is just dragging by. All of my appointments have been great lately. I've been able to see my regular doctor for the last 4 appointments and it has made such a big difference. I feel more confident and more relaxed about everything.

I'm done watching Jack until a few weeks after the baby arrives which just feels odd. I love having him around and I'm so used to his sweet little cheeks that I am going to miss him a lot over this next month.

Raene and Ruby has been playing babies all the time. Raene has even been practicing lullabies for when she comes home :) Ruby likes the idea of the baby most of the time but she has been having a lot of meltdown temper tantrums. So I think she is taking the transition pretty hard even though the baby isn't even here yet. I think getting back into the routine of school will be a good thing for them this year even if it adds more stress to my plate.
